Excavation Company in Arthur City, TX

Foster Land Modifications was founded in 2019 when Casey Foster returned home to Arthur City after years of working in the oil fields. But the business really started decades earlier, when Casey first learned to run heavy equipment as a young man.

Our Background

In 2006, Casey took his equipment skills to the oil fields, working his way into consulting roles where he became known as the person companies called when a job wasn’t going right. He’d step in, fix what needed fixing, and get the project back on track. That problem-solving reputation led to steady work and the opportunity to build his own equipment fleet.

While working in the oil fields, Casey bought his first excavator, then a dozer, then a front-end loader. By the time he came home in 2019, he owned three pieces of major equipment, all paid for. That gave him the foundation to start Foster Land Modifications and focus on the kind of work he’d always preferred—land development, pond construction, and helping landowners improve their properties.

What We Do Today

Today, we work primarily with private landowners throughout Northeast Texas and Southern Oklahoma. We handle house pads, road construction, pond and lake building, land clearing, and water drainage projects. We also maintain commercial properties, including solar field mowing, and we respond to emergency situations for utility companies like Oncor.

We’re not the biggest operation out there, and we don’t try to be. What we offer is direct access to an owner who’s been doing this work for over three decades, modern equipment that’s well-maintained, and the kind of attention to detail that comes from treating every project like it matters.

Foster Land Modifications — Reliable Land Expertise You Can Trust

A lot of dirt work companies will tell you they can do it all. We prefer to be honest about what we do well. We excel at ranch management work like ponds and lakes. We’re very good at house pads, though we’d rather focus on the variety that comes with larger land modification projects. We do land and timber clearing with track hoes and dozers, but we’re not a forestry mulching operation.
When we take on a project, you work directly with Casey. He personally reviews the site, provides the estimate, and oversees the work. There’s no sales team and no layers of management. You’re talking to the person who’ll be running the equipment or managing the crew, and that direct communication makes everything simpler.

Over 35 Years
of Experience

Casey Foster has been operating heavy equipment and managing land projects since he was 19. That experience means we know how to handle challenges before they become problems.

The Equipment to
Handle Any Job

We operate dozers, track hoes, skid steers, loaders, and all necessary support equipment. For larger projects, we can bring in 12–13 additional dozers through our network.

Free Estimates
Anywhere

We provide free estimates for all projects, whether you're in Arthur City or beyond our primary service area, so you can make informed decisions about your land.

Reliable Service
in Any Weather

Texas weather won’t stop us. If rain halts one job, we often continue work elsewhere, and we respond quickly during emergencies.

Our Equipment and Capabilities

We own dozers, track hoes, skid steers, a front-end loader, and a Skytrak that we sometimes rent out for other projects. Our equipment is well-maintained and ready to work. When a project requires additional resources, we have relationships with other operators and can bring in up to a dozen additional dozers if needed. That flexibility means we can scale to handle larger jobs without compromising quality or timeline.

Emergency Response

We also work with Oncor and other utility companies during emergencies. When ice storms or tornadoes hit, we stage equipment in locations like Sherman, Sulphur Springs, and Paris, ready to respond within hours. We’ve cleared ice-covered roads, moved downed trees, and helped restore access for utility crews and residents who couldn’t get out of their properties.
